All American comfort food is what you’ll find here at Boa, and yes, of course… steak!
Spoken from a Mid-westerner…Boa has great steaks! And their sides are all that and then some. IN fact, you can make a meal out of the side dishes alone. Ok, Boa does offer amazing seafood as well and you don’t have to be from the Midwest to recognize this.
The scene at Boa varies. Go at lunch time and you’ll encounter power players in their best business casual attire, a bit more on the serious side. You may even spot a suit or two ( a rarity in LA). Go for happy hour or at dinner, and the vibe will be more relaxed. There will be a lot more Martini sipping and people watching going on then.
The inside of Boa steakhouse is sleek and modern ( a bit sterile if you ask me). However, the garden is where it’s at! Beautiful, intimate and relaxing…Please don’t arrive to Boa Steakhouse in your rubber flip flops or athleisure wear or you might be denied service. Yah, Boa isn’t your casual dining type of place.
If you have a tot in tote, definitely catch Boa during the early service dinner hour and sit outside. Something about the garden is relaxing to even kids. And they have a bit more autonomy to roam around your table. After the first drink, you will fall into the Boa trap and want to stay longer than suspected, so bring some headphones and an Ipad along if this is the case.
Boa Steakhouse is quite the scene. This alone makes it worth checking out, with the kids or without. Since Boa in West Hollywood is on the main level of the building Soho house (a private club for creatives) is in, this scene is quite colorful!

Not promoted, but you should take the chance:
If your toddler is at the stage when an iPad or some other colorful distraction can be used for an un-interrupted 20 minutes, then go for it.
Uh-uh, NO WAY, don’t even think about it!:
I don’t care how cute your toddler is. Pop your head in… turn around… walk away. PERIOD.
No contained area:
A place you cannot leave your toddler alone, not even for a second.
Enclosed, but space is tight:
If YOU can’t fit between the tables then you know you couldn’t catch your toddler if they tried – this isn’t Norm’s.
