Rode a vintage train to Prancers Christmas Farm to kick off this holiday season !
The train will drop you off at the farm and give you an hour and 20 minutes to visit before you board again and head back to the station.
( That really is the perfect amount of time.)
The farm offers a mini train ride around the grounds , a petting zoo, pony rides, tractor rides ( complete with Santa ) a fresh farm stand and of course a wide selection of trees that they will wrap up and place on the train for ya .
The train itself can be caught at the Fillmore and Western station in Ventura . The ride is about 45 min there and back.
They do offer an evening train where you can ride in your pj’s and see the decorations ( including Santa and his sleigh) all lit up !
Yes, you can drive directly to the farm but the train ride alone was worth everything 🎅🏼

We took a day trip to Oak Glen, CA on Tues for some apple picking, but when we got there , there was snow on the ground . Can you believe that? Has apple picking season ended already?? It was beautiful though.
And we ate our way through this quaint town instead.
Candy apples, Apple donuts , and apple pie.
I’d say it was a great day!

Located in Encino where the 405 and the 101 meet, @tapiabrosfarm is a skip hop and a jump from big city life and worth the very short car ride out!
Get your little pumpkins 🎃 all dolled up and take yourself some cuuuuute photos.
Pick up fresh fruit and veggies from the farm stand or bring home the most oddly shaped, goriest looking pumpkin you can find ( and yes, there are PLENTY here) .
Regardless , you’ll be creating memories that will last forever ...

If you are looking for a short road trip and a day away from the city, i highly suggest this amazing organic @123farmorganics farm.
From lunch/ dinner outside under beautifully canopied trees , a s’mores pit , a beer garden , games , a walk through beautiful lavender fields and a chance to feed the sheep..
So much to do here with the fam, with girlfriends , or even on a date !

How you guys holding up? Just when I thought I created a good schedule... it all changed 🤣I’ve learned to take it as it comes and just go with it ! One thing for certain is that when we need a change of pace inside the house, or that xtra spark in our day, I take out a box . We dug through the garage long and hard for this one. Tiny or big , a box is a blank canvas. It reignites the creative juices and puts the imagination to work. This could possibly be her ultimate favorite “toy.” .

Hollywood’s Calling YOU to the @annenbergspace for Vanity Fair’s latest exhibit !
Not only is the photography drenched with the glitz and glam of that hollywood iconic lifestyle ( though i was bummed it didn’t feature my favorite Vanity Fair lifestyle photographer @larryfinkphoto ), but the setting of the space itself can’t be beat .
There is a beautiful lawn outside for the kids to run and play and it’s also located across the street from @westfieldcenturycity mall! On that tip, they have an amazing food court as well as a play structure next to the Zara 😉

Open now for viewing at the @usc_pam in Pasadena, Oscar Oiwa's installation: Dreams of a Sleeping World. Artist, Oiwa used 120 sharpies to create this. Capri came home with the idea to do the same on a white sheet. Of course , she only wants to use Sharpies now and that’s a total no go for me ! 🙀 What is a good age for Sharpie use anyway? Oiwa’s show runs through April 26, 2020. Admission is free for all visitors Thursdays from 5-8pm and on the second Sunday of the month. ⁠⠀

Suagus Cafe happens to be LA’s oldest restaurant !! It’s located in Santa Clarita and has been around for over 130 years . Yes, since the late 1800’s! Rumor has it that Theodore Roosevelt dined here while on the campaign trail in 1903, as did stars like Clark Gable, John Wayne and Marlene Dietrich.
But the question is... what did they order? If only the walls can talk.
