THE GET DOWN

Eataly is the mecca for all things Italian. Groceries, baked goods, cheeses, breads, fish, meat and of course pizza and pasta!

Whether you want to just grocery shop or have a nice sit down, Eataly will serve all of your needs. Most of the time, the lines to sit down are a mile long so take note: There are TWO host stands; One for pizza/pasta and one for FISH (this one is past the aisles of wine). I assure you, you WILL be able to order pasta from the sit down fish restaurant. So skip the pie (because nothing can measure up to Mozza anyway and time is money), sit down and enjoy watching the crowds while you are sipping a glass of your favorite red.

Nothing can beat homemade pasta or a nice piece of grilled fish. Indulge in the lasagna, or if in season, the butternut squash ravioli.

Done with dinn but still want to drink while you watch your kids run circles around the place? Go right ahead, It’s ok here. I mean, it IS EATALY after all.

Save room for samples… coffee, candy, a sweet treat, some cheese… and pick something up to take home so you can remember this experience forever.

The scene at Eataly is the most. Even more so than the food, so take full advantage of Eataly’s social nature. You might even leave with some new friends.

The Spotted Cloth
Rating System:

It’s our goal to make exploring LA either with the kids or with grown ups as easy as possible. Click through the tabs above to check out our rating system.

For those with little
runners & screamers:

Easily forgiven:

Here, you can forget the fact that it’s your rambunctious child that’s screaming and STILL enjoy most of your meal.

Not promoted, but you should take the chance:

If your toddler is at the stage when an iPad or some other colorful distraction can be used for an un-interrupted 20 minutes, then go for it.

Uh-uh, NO WAY, don’t even think about it!:

I don’t care how cute your toddler is. Pop your head in… turn around… walk away. PERIOD.

No contained area:

A place you cannot leave your toddler alone, not even for a second.

Enclosed, but space is tight:

If YOU can’t fit between the tables then you know you couldn’t catch your toddler if they tried – this isn’t Norm’s.
