THE GET DOWN
Every single time we’ve ever passed this place on our drives through Koreatown, the line to Slurpin’ Noodle Ramen Bar has been out the door. And with all the Koreatown places to choose from in LA’s Koreatown, it gets ya to wonder just why?
Was the Ramen Great? Well, the ramen was as good as it needs to be… but at this point it didn’t matter because we were hooked at the Bulgogi egg roll. It is definitely a standout and would get us to Slurpin’ Noodle Ramen Bar when the mood strikes for sure.
The vibe at Slurpin Noodle Ramen bar is super casual. The people are the artwork here, and what a diverse range it is. If you are not sitting at one of the many communal tables, then you will definitely be meeting some hip friendly folks along the outskirts… on the communal high ledges, which are aligned alongside the windows.
Don’t sweat it if you have a screamer. It’s so loud in Slurpin’ Noodle Ramen Bar that I don’t think anyone would even bat an eye.
And if you have a runner, then hmmm… the space is tight. It’s tight mainly because it’s so packed. If your runner can stay strapped in a high chair, which is table height to the very high communal seats, then you will be A-okay.
But then again, if you must go chasing, at least you’ll work off some of that Tonkotsu you just devoured!

Here, you can forget the fact that it’s your rambunctious child that’s screaming and STILL enjoy most of your meal.
Not promoted, but you should take the chance:
If your toddler is at the stage when an iPad or some other colorful distraction can be used for an un-interrupted 20 minutes, then go for it.
Uh-uh, NO WAY, don’t even think about it!:
I don’t care how cute your toddler is. Pop your head in… turn around… walk away. PERIOD.
No contained area:
A place you cannot leave your toddler alone, not even for a second.
Enclosed, but space is tight:
If YOU can’t fit between the tables then you know you couldn’t catch your toddler if they tried – this isn’t Norm’s.
