THE GET DOWN
I’m always suspect of a loooong drive (meaning anything more than an hour) with my toddler since she’s not the best sport when it comes to car rides.
On that note, we approached this adventure to The Pumpkin Factory with some apprehension for sure. But let me tell ya, come one come ALL! The Pumpkin Factory at Live Oak Canyon Ranch was every bit of fun as I imagined it could be.
The Pumpkin Factory is opened for one month out of the year, around the beginning of fall. This year, from September 23- through October 31st. The Pumpkin Factory can easily make it to my yearly round-abouts. Though it’s awesome for the whole family, it will be particularly pleasing to tots 5 and under.
I felt like a kid when we got out of the car. Everything grabbed my attention. From zip lines, to massive bouncy houses, kid rides to corn mazes, The Pumpkin Factory at Live Oak Canyon Ranch has all the fun you can have in a day!
There is ongoing entertainment at a couple different stages going on here too. And the ranch isn’t shy of fair food in case you want a nibble.
Oh yah, OMG! The games at The Pumkin Factory might even take you waaaay back to your childhood (they did for me). Throw the ring around the bottle, get the ping pong ball in a goldfish bowl, scoop up a duck or two from the pond and win yourself a prize! C’mon, every home needs another stuffed animal, no? LOL…
Definitely buy a bracelet for $15 to be able to ride the small rides and jump as much as you wish. But as I said, we went on opening day. I suspect that the lines from now until Halloween could get super, duper, duper long. Especially on the weekends. So come prepared.
There are plenty of shaded trees around to have a nice picnic so pack a ton of snack, a ton of water and a blanket and get ready for a ROAD TRIP to The Pumpkin Factory!!!!

Not promoted, but you should take the chance:
If your toddler is at the stage when an iPad or some other colorful distraction can be used for an un-interrupted 20 minutes, then go for it.
Uh-uh, NO WAY, don’t even think about it!:
I don’t care how cute your toddler is. Pop your head in… turn around… walk away. PERIOD.
No contained area:
A place you cannot leave your toddler alone, not even for a second.
Enclosed, but space is tight:
If YOU can’t fit between the tables then you know you couldn’t catch your toddler if they tried – this isn’t Norm’s.
