THE GET DOWN
You have to appreciate a hotel that offers you more than just a place to stay. The Langham is a posh playground for us. The grounds are tremendous. Bring a ball and these grounds instantly transform into a soccer field.
There are hallways with thick curtains for an ultimate game of hide and go seek, carpeted ballrooms which turn into a gymnastics studio perfect for somersaulting.
If you have a young one who needs to get grounded, The Langham has a tiny little kids room up front with books and stuffed animals to play with. There was something very cute and special about this very small and thought out room.
Nonetheless, we all like to people watch, right? And here’s your 5 star chance to do so. Sit on the patio overlooking these beautiful grounds and enjoy a “High Tea” service. Or just grab an iced tea, a small bite and take a little break. You’ll be happy you did!

Here, you can forget the fact that it’s your rambunctious child that’s screaming and STILL enjoy most of your meal.
Not promoted, but you should take the chance:
If your toddler is at the stage when an iPad or some other colorful distraction can be used for an un-interrupted 20 minutes, then go for it.
Uh-uh, NO WAY, don’t even think about it!:
I don’t care how cute your toddler is. Pop your head in… turn around… walk away. PERIOD.
No contained area:
A place you cannot leave your toddler alone, not even for a second.
Enclosed, but space is tight:
If YOU can’t fit between the tables then you know you couldn’t catch your toddler if they tried – this isn’t Norm’s.
