THE GET DOWN
Sam’s bagels is about the closest thing you can find to a true New York City bagel right here in LA. Warm (if you get there early enough), fluffy and slightly chewy.
It’s a necessity to keep at least two flavors of the cream cheese stocked in your fridge at all times. You never know when the craving is going to strike and you must be prepared. I recommend the dill and strawberry flavors.
For a quiet little “Mommie Morning Moment” bring a bag of the fresh mini bagels home to the little ones, plop them down in front of curious George and enjoy your green tea. Sam’s bagels has two locations: Larchmont & Hollywood.

If your toddler is at the stage when an iPad or some other colorful distraction can be used for an un-interrupted 20 minutes, then go for it.
Uh-uh, NO WAY, don’t even think about it!:
I don’t care how cute your toddler is. Pop your head in… turn around… walk away. PERIOD.
No contained area:
A place you cannot leave your toddler alone, not even for a second.
Enclosed, but space is tight:
If YOU can’t fit between the tables then you know you couldn’t catch your toddler if they tried – this isn’t Norm’s.
